Reverend James Melton has served in youth and church ministry for more than 30 years. He is comfortable working one-on-one or with audiences of thousands.

His experience includes: keynote speaking, conference training, and workshops for a wide variety of audiences as diverse as church pastors, lay ministry teams, corporate executives, teacher in-service sessions, parent groups and community organizations.

Rev. Melton offers extensive experience in the design and administration of Bible-centered ministries within the church and throughout the community.

His vast experience includes needs and solutions-based ministry design, leadership and skills-based training, long-term and big-events planning, discipleship and leadership training, and capacity-building through entrepreneurial endeavors.

After much research and independent study Dr. Willie Myles developed an interest in human behaviors relative to boys and men of African descent.

His understanding of Black male culture is exceptional and has directed his quest to have others appreciate them and address their specific issues. Dr. Myles has founded a number of organizations.

Dr. Myles is a founding member of the Alliance for Action Council of Florida, and is the Founder of The National Council on the Preservation of Black Families.

He is the author of “The Transition to Manhood through the Rites of Passage and Male Talk: The Book For Adolescent and Teen Males” and “The Survival Guide for Black Male Youth”.

He has received hundreds of awards and honors during a 30-year professional career in the child and family services field. Additionally he has received significant print and television coverage highlighting his work with at risk children and families. He is an author, ordained minister, clinician, and lecturer.
